CCTV

With CCTV now being ever-present across all sectors and the demand higher than ever, AD Security can provide a wide range of high quality CCTV systems. Whether it be designing and installing the newer technology in IP CCTV or maintaining the older analogue CCTV systems, we will work with all of our customer’s requirements and budgets to find the solution that best suits you. Feel free to contact us to discuss your options.

Analogue CCTV Systems

Although analogue CCTV is now slowly disappearing with the rise and high demand of IP CCTV, we understand not everyone can simply upgrade which is why at AD Security, we still maintain and support many analogue systems for our clients. There is also the option for HD analogue through the traditional coaxial cable if you wish to upgrade without replacing the cabling infrastructure that would be required for IP. If an internet connection is available, these systems can also be setup to view remotely via PC, tablet or mobile phone.

IP CCTV Systems

IP is now leading the market in CCTV due the high quality of the images that can be achieved through mega pixel resolution and its POE (power over Ethernet) technology to transmit both the camera power and image to down one single Cat5 cable while still maintaining the highest level of performance. This also allows CCTV installations to be integrated alongside other IP services such as Access Control and Data networks while using the same cabling infrastructure. If an internet connection is available, these systems can also be setup to view remotely via PC, tablet or mobile phone.

Wireless CCTV Systems

Wireless CCTV solutions are commonly used when cabled CCTV solutions are not achievable or cost effective. With the wireless technology improving dramatically and now being extremely reliable, this is always an option to consider where cabling could be a problem.

ANPR CCTV Systems

With the need to clearly recognise a number plate through CCTV being in such high demand, ANPR (Automatic number-plate recognition) is a technology that uses optical character recognition on images to read vehicle registration plates to create vehicle location data. These systems commonly use infrared lighting to allow the camera to take the picture at any time, day or night. These systems are often used on roads and car parks to monitor vehicle traffic and violations.
